About Dr. Milman
Adam Milman, MD, is dedicated to the health and wellbeing of the patient’s mind and body. He started practicing in 2008 and treats complex Primary Care cases, but has a specific interest in non pharmaceutical based strategies to treat depression, anxiety, PTSD, and lifestyle-induced health problems utilizing a multifaceted approach. Interventions utilized include goal setting and follow through, Strategic Intervention, Human Needs Psychology. Neuroliguistic Programming, Positive Psychology, and Ericksonian techniques to break through their limitations and achieve their maximum potential. He is board certified in Internal Medicine.
Dr. Milman completed his premedical and honors program requirements and earned his Bachelor’s degrees in religious studies and philosophy from the University of South Florida, in Tampa. He taught science at Strawberry Mansion High School in Philadelphia while attending graduate classes at Temple University and then John Adams High School in Queens, New York, while attending Queens College. He then attended medical school at Tel Aviv University Sackler School of Medicine New York State/American Program in Israel. Dr. Milman completed his residency at University Medical Center, Las Vegas through the University of Nevada, Reno medical school. Dr. Milman has previously worked as an associate clinical professor for Touro Medical College in Henderson, NV and is a laboratory medical director as well as the medical director for a Home Health company. He has completed the Core 100 Training for life coaching with Robbins Madanes Training (RMT).
On a personal note, Dr. Milman is happily married to his beautiful wife Dee and together they have three amazing boys. His family loves studying American and world history, musical theater, traveling, hiking, walking on the beach, raising money for charities, hosting people in their home for meals and engaging in lively discussions. Dr. Milman’s other hobbies include reading, writing, and exercising.
