My Mission
As an Internist, I am responsible for the care of complicated patients. But the time permitted to spend with the patients is continuously decreased while the amount of clicks of the mouse and keyboard increase. And the data that must be entered into our electronic health record system increases in order to receive an ever-decreasing reimbursement from insurance companies. This results in our inability to intervene and help the patients’ emotional and psychological issues, which contribute to their physical ailments, or are a product of their physical ailments.
My goal is to help the ever-growing number of patients needing a provider to address their physical complaints, diseases, and conditions as well as their psychological and emotional concerns, outside the constraints of the primary care setting. My aim is to liberate them from their limiting beliefs about their “conditions,” help them live a more fulfilled existence, assist in improving unhealthy relationships, and allowing them to continue to grow.
